Whitby Lighthouse

Built in 1858, located on Ling Hill, on the coast to the south-east of Whitby, is where you will find this lighthouse that is operated by Trinity House. Offering a brilliant viewpoint to watch the boats and wildlife.The lighthouse is surrounded by picturesque views of the harbour and is a great place for a stroll or to sit watch the sun go down.


Pannett Art Gallery

Situated in the heart of Whitby, located in Pannett Park. Pannett Art Gallery shares a building with Whitby Museum and offers a spectacular programme of temporary exhibitions and a lovely tearoom that is hidden away downstairs also offering outdoor seating that is ideal for the warmer weather. A great mixture of contemporary original historical pieces and local art!


Saltwick Bay Beach

This bay is known for being rich with fossils. If you look hard enough you may be lucky enough to discover Whitby Jet, a gemstone that is unique to the area. A peaceful beach that has incredible, tranquil surroundings. The perfect gem that is great fun for all the family!
